Multicultural Wedding in Bali // Shirelle & Brian

Friends before lovers, that is something that we find beautiful in companionship between Shirelle and Brian. They met at The University of Texas in Austin and they were friends for a few years before Brian asked Shirelle out for their first date.

“I had had a crush on him since my freshman year when he used to wear goofy hipster glasses. My friends thought it was funny that I went on a date with Brian – he was pretty eccentric in college, but I knew that we had a connection.”

Brian proposed 8 years later back in Austin at the Capitol building near campus. It was a spot when they both used to walk around the grounds at night and talk. Also where they first said “I love you” to each other. It was a cold winter night and they were bundled up blankets on a horse-drawn carriage, a romantic and intimate moment.

“Our wedding was truly magical. We were so lucky to have guests travel from the USA, Australia, UK, Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia to celebrate our union. The venues were breathtaking and everyone was in pure vacation mode, which made for great dance parties. The Innaz team went above and beyond to make my ideas a reality and the decor was splendid. I’ll never forget the rose-covered backdrop for our ceremony and the sunset that evening. Brian and I could not have dreamed of a better celebration and wish we were back in Bali now!”
